The Approach I Use
Many people come to me with difficulties such as anxiety, unwanted habits, fears or recurring emotional patterns. Simply trying harder often isn't enough to create lasting change.
I take time to understand the individual rather than applying the same approach to everyone. We look at the thoughts, feelings and patterns that may be keeping the difficulty in place, and consider what needs to change.
My work draws on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Hypnotherapy, NLP and Regression Therapy, choosing the methods that are most appropriate for the individual and their circumstances.
The aim is to help you understand yourself more clearly, make meaningful changes and move forward with greater confidence.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention that we all experience in everyday life. It is not a state of unconsciousness or loss of control, and you remain aware of what is happening throughout a session.
During hypnotherapy, I use this state of focused attention to help you become more receptive to useful suggestions and new perspectives. This can make it easier to change patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour that are no longer serving you.
Hypnotherapy can be helpful for a range of concerns, including anxiety, confidence, unwanted habits, fears and phobias, and other patterns that you would like to change.
The approach is always tailored to you and the particular changes you want to make. Many people are surprised by how ordinary and relaxing hypnosis feels.
What Is NLP?
NLP, or Neuro-Linguistic Programming, explores how our thoughts, emotions, language and behaviour influence the way we experience life.
Over time, we can develop patterns of thinking and responding that happen almost automatically. Some of these patterns are useful, while others can contribute to anxiety, low confidence, unwanted habits or feeling stuck.
NLP uses practical techniques to help identify these patterns and develop different ways of thinking and responding. I may use NLP alongside hypnotherapy and other therapeutic approaches, depending on the individual and what they would like to change.
The aim is to help you develop more helpful responses, greater confidence and lasting positive change.
Regression
Regression therapy can be used to explore experiences and patterns that may have developed earlier in life and continue to influence how you think, feel or respond today.
Sometimes we know where a particular pattern began. At other times, the reasons behind it are less obvious. Regression can provide an opportunity to explore these experiences in a safe and supportive way and develop a clearer understanding of how they may have affected you.
Regression does not require you to relive difficult experiences or uncover memories that you would rather leave alone. The work is guided by you, at a pace that feels appropriate.
I use regression alongside hypnotherapy and other therapeutic approaches where it may be helpful, always focusing on what you want to change in the present.
The aim is to gain greater understanding of the patterns that may be holding you back and help you move forward with greater freedom and confidence.
Most people do not need to decide which therapeutic approach is best before making contact.
During a free introductory call we can discuss your goals and determine the most appropriate approach for your situation.
The focus is not on the technique itself, but on helping you create the change you want in your life.
Which Approach Is Right For Me?
You do not need to decide which therapeutic approach is right for you before making contact.
During a free introductory call, we can discuss what you would like to change and explore the approach that is most appropriate for your situation.
The focus is not on choosing a particular technique. It is on understanding what you want to change and finding an approach that works for you.
If you are unsure whether hypnotherapy, NLP, regression or another approach would be most helpful, we can work that out together.
